RANDOM FACTS

I use way too many exclamation marks, but I'm really just that excited!!!! I want to know what moves your heart. I say "that's so funny" quite a bit, but it can mean a number of things. I am a lover of donuts and tea. I floss every night before bed! I love the idea of being spontaneous, but rarely do things unplanned. I am the youngest of four girls, but I'm taller than all my sisters. I would love to open a cafe someday. I am fascinated by the bridegroom God and his ravished heart for all of humanity

    THANK YOU!

SHE SAID YES: Hannah and Jeremiah Engaged!

My good friends Hannah and Jeremiah got engaged this past weekend! WOOHOO! I couldn’t be happier for them- they are the perfect pair!
When I first found out that Jeremiah was going to propose I got SUPER giddy and as you can imagine, had a very hard time keeping it from Hannah (but the proposal was a success and Hannah was clueless about the whole thing…yesss!). Since Hannah and Jeremiah both love to travel we decided on a travel-themed engagement. A few of us helped out with the decorations and had so much fun shopping, creating, and watching it all come together!
A few weeks before the actual day we went to scout out the location and see what we could do with it. This place, Jeremiah explained, was a gift! A year ago, he had gone off driving on his birthday, wanting a gift from God. He ended up at this location and immediately knew that he would propose to his future wife there. WOW! He also took Hannah here the night they got together!

After setting everything up Jeremiah’s mom and baby sister cooked us a delicious feast!

We ate and rested, but soon returned to the site to wait for Hannah and Jeremiah. When 10:45pm came around we all ran into the bushes to hide as the lovebirds approached. It was such a sweet moment when they arrived, Hannah totally thrown off, surprised and amazed with Jeremiah in hand, leading her into the lights. And then it happened! He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him…she said YES!
and then we all popped out! It was a glorious celebration! : )
Jeremiah also asked Hannah’s family to prepare a video from Seattle; I love how they were able to be a part of this special occasion from miles and miles away!
and then we celebrated some more! Cheers to the beautiful journey ahead!
The night ended at their apartment with dessert, stories, and so much love! Oh Hannah and Jeremiah, CONGRATS to YOU!! I love you guys so much! : )

I don’t know any of you personally, but felt compelled to say congratulations just by the wonderful story and photos which articulated it so well. In fact, this link was sent to me by a coworker that has a son who is friends with one of the happy couple. Regardless, it was just inspiring to see the love in your story.
Thanks for reminding me love is still alive… Somewhere!

I’ve known Hannah since middle school and even though we are miles apart and have not been very much in touch, she is still so dear to my heart. Thank you Eileen for being a God-given friend to Hannah with a God-given talent of capturing special moments such as this one. Congratulations to Jeremiah and Hannah! I’m so happy for you both!
