I’ve known the Lai family since I was a little girl; my dad and Mr. Lai both pastored at the church where I grew up in and our families attended many activities and retreats together. The Lais moved away for some time while we were still pretty young so when I finally reconnected with the kids again, we were all so much older and I was shocked to see how big they all grew! I’m glad to say that we’re all in touch now and I get to see a few of them on a weekly basis.

It was such a pleasure taking photos for this family. I love that I was able to see them all together again (the oldest daughter Phoebe is going to grad school in Miami and came back for only a few weeks) and to witness their love for one another. I really do love that about photography- you automatically get to see an intimate side of the family and how they interact with one another. Thank you for allowing me to come in to capture it all! : )

Now the siblings! I LOVE siblings and taking pictures of siblings! : ) Here’s Phoebe, Nathan, and Bethany. Aren’t they beautiful? Yes, yes they are!

what a fun bunch! I love the way they tease each other, laugh at each other, love on each other. 

Throughout our shoot the kids kept talking about racing down this hill- it was the perfect way to end our time together : ) Thanks again for such a wonderful session, Lais! I so enjoyed hanging out with you guys!
