Random Facts

I use way too many exclamation marks, but I'm really just that excited!!!! I want to know what moves your heart I say "that's so funny" quite a bit, but it can mean a number of things I floss every night before bed! I love the idea of being spontaneous, but it's hard for me to actually do things unplanned I am the youngest of four girls, but I'm taller than all my sisters I would love to open a cafe someday I am fascinated by the bridegroom God and his ravished heart for all of humanity

Congrats Timmy and Judy!

Everyone meet Timmy and Judy! They are expecting a baby girl this winter, Anna Beth Chen! : ) I couldn’t be more excited for them- Timmy is my brother-in-law’s younger brother and Judy was my mentor in Junior high. They are such a fun couple and I have no doubt they will be wonderful parents!
Judy has been making a mobile for Anna with little handsewn birds. The inspiration came from Psalm 84 where the psalmist yearns for a dwelling place with God. He cries, “Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself… a place near your altar.”  Since birds will be the theme of Anna’s nursery they decided to make that the theme for the baby shower as well! All the decorations (made by my sister Liz and Stephenie, Timmy and Judy’s good friend) were created to have a nest-y feel.
I love how everything turned out!
It was such a festive event! The house was filled with family and friends…and good food!

And of course the activities! There was a quiz about the parents to be (so hard!), a station to design onesies/shirts for baby Anna, and a fun game of bingo!
After all the games and activities everyone blessed Judy and Timmy with prayers and encouraging words. It was so beautiful.
Timmy and Judy, you guys are so blessed!
and what’s a party without some cake?! Look at the colors of this one..so delicious!

As people made their way out they were sent home with these delicious handmade cake-pops and button cookies! What a treat!
Oh, what a day! Congratulations Timmy and Judy! We can’t wait to meet baby Anna! : )

    Thank you so much for taking pics for us Eileen! You rock! (Emily, we took pictures with Eileen but I’m not sure how they turned out). We love you! And we love how you can capture these special moments with such an artistic eye!
